Website insights agent

Privacy-first website analytics and a daily plain-English report with the 3 best fixes to make next.

Built and run by VyybeBallpark: $200–$600 setup + $25–$75/mo

Overview

How it works

Most analytics tools give you charts and leave the thinking to you. The website insights agent watches how visitors use your site, then sends you a short daily report: what happened, where people struggle, and the 3 improvements most worth making this week, each with the evidence behind it.

It's built for privacy from the start. There are no cookies and no third-party trackers. It never records what people type and never stores IP addresses. Visitors whose browsers send Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track aren't recorded at all.

What it does track is practical: pages and sections people actually see, what they click, repeated frustrated "rage" clicks, how far they scroll, form starts, errors and drop-off, chat use and script errors. That's enough to spot a broken button or a confusing form field.

The report is written from the measured numbers only. If the data is too thin to support a conclusion, it says so instead of guessing.

What it looks like

A typical walkthrough

For example, here's how the agent helps a landscaping company improve its website over a week.

  1. Visitors browse as usual

Throughout the day, people visit the services pages, open the chat and start the quote form. No cookie banner is needed for analytics, because the agent sets none.

  2. A frustrated tap is noticed

Several mobile visitors tap the "See our work" image repeatedly. The agent records these as rage clicks on that element, without recording anything about who they are.

  3. The morning report arrives

At 8 am, the owner gets an email: visits, form starts and submissions for the last 7 days, where people struggle, and 3 suggested fixes.

  4. The evidence is right there

The top suggestion: make the gallery image a working link, because it drew the most repeated clicks this week. The second: the phone field on the quote form had the most errors, so accept more number formats.

  5. A thin day is called out honestly

On a quiet day with only a handful of visits, the report says there isn't enough data to draw firm conclusions, and suggests checking back later in the week.

  6. The fixes are made

The owner asks Vyybe to make the two changes. Over the following days, the report shows whether rage clicks and form errors on those elements drop.

Under the hood

How our system does it

  1. First-party and cookie-less

A small script on your site sends events to your own server, not to an ad network. It uses a random ID that lasts only for the browser tab, so visitors aren't followed from visit to visit or across other sites.

  2. No typed text, no IP addresses

The agent accepts only a fixed list of event types, such as page view, section seen or form error. Form contents are never sent, and IP addresses aren't stored. Device type is worked out from screen width alone.

  3. Honors GPC and Do Not Track

If a visitor's browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the server drops their events before anything is saved.

  4. Tracks what helps you fix things

Events cover pages and sections seen, clicks, rage clicks, scroll depth, time engaged, form starts, field errors, submissions, chat opens and script errors. Together they show where people get stuck.

  5. A weekly summary each morning

Every day at your chosen hour, 8 am by default in your time zone, the agent summarizes the last 7 days: sessions, devices, referrers, sections, top clicks, rage clicks, form drop-off and errors.

  6. Written so it never invents numbers

Claude, Anthropic's AI model, receives only that summary. It's instructed to use the numbers in the data and nothing else, and to say plainly when the data is too thin. The result is a short, plain report under 350 words.

  7. Works even without AI

If AI writing is switched off, you still get a plain report of the key numbers, rage clicks, form errors and script errors, so the morning email never goes missing.

What it does

What it does

  • Tracks visits without cookies

Measures page views and sessions with a temporary per-tab ID instead of cookies.

  • Shows which sections are seen

Records which parts of each page people actually scroll to and view.

  • Spots rage clicks

Flags elements people click repeatedly in frustration, often a sign something looks clickable but isn't.

  • Measures form drop-off

Counts form starts, field errors and submissions, so you can see where people give up.

  • Catches script errors

Records website errors that may be breaking something for visitors.

  • Honors privacy signals

Skips anyone whose browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.

  • Sends a daily report

Emails a short written report each morning with 3 suggested fixes and the evidence for each.

  • Keeps reports in your dashboard

Recent reports and the numbers behind them are saved for you to look back on.

What it can do for you

Why it helps

  • Know what to fix next

Instead of guessing, you get 3 specific suggestions backed by what visitors actually did.

  • Catch problems early

Broken buttons, confusing fields and script errors show up in the next morning's report.

  • Respect your visitors' privacy

No cookies, no typed text and no IPs, with privacy signals honored, which fits how many customers expect to be treated.

  • Make sense of it in minutes

A plain-English email takes a couple of minutes to read, with no dashboards to learn.

What you control

Your rules, your approvals

  • Turning analytics on or off
  • The hour the daily report is written
  • How many days each report covers
  • Who receives the report by email
  • Generating an extra report on demand from the dashboard

Who it's for

Is this a good fit?

  • Owners who want to improve their website but don't have time for analytics tools
  • Businesses that rely on a website form or chat for new enquiries
  • Owners who want useful data without cookies or third-party tracking
  • Probably not the right fit if you need advertising audiences, cross-site tracking or individual visitor profiles.

How we work

From first conversation to live

  1. Discovery

We talk about what your website needs to do, which forms and pages matter most, and who should get the report. Scope and price are confirmed in writing after that short conversation.

  2. Setup on your business profile

We add the tracking script and section markers to your site, and set your time zone, report hour, report period and recipients on your business profile.

  3. Test in safe mode

In safe mode, we browse your site ourselves, check that every event type records correctly with nothing typed or identifying, and confirm GPC and Do Not Track visitors are dropped. The first reports go to a review log.

  4. Go live

We switch the daily email on and read the first live report with you, so you know what each part means.

  5. Ongoing review

We review reports with you, help prioritize fixes, and make the website changes you approve.

FAQ

Questions owners ask

Do I need a cookie banner for this?

The agent sets no cookies and uses only a temporary ID for the browser tab. Whether you need a banner for other parts of your site depends on what else runs there. Your privacy policy still describes the analytics, and we help update it.

Can it see what people type into my forms?

No. It records that a form was started, that a field had an error, or that it was submitted. The contents of fields are never sent or stored.

What is a rage click?

It's when someone clicks the same spot several times quickly, usually because they expected something to happen and it didn't. It's one of the clearest signs of a broken or confusing element.

How do I know the report's numbers are real?

The AI receives only the measured summary and is instructed to use those numbers and nothing else. When the data is too thin, it says so. The numbers behind each report are saved in your dashboard, so you can check them.

Does it work with my current website?

In most cases, yes, as long as we can add a small script to your pages. It's built in from the start on sites we build.

Will this get me more customers?

We can't promise that. What it gives you is a clear, evidence-based list of what to fix, so your website works better for the people who already visit.
